Driver Rule Sheet

Rule 1

- Offence: Disrespect a Supervisor/Base/Management (in person, over the radio or via phone call).

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately.

Rule 2

- Offence: Displaying any form of violence towards management, base supervisors, drivers or passengers

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 3

- Offence: Steal another driver work (without/with asking time)

- First Offence: Warning and return the money to the assigned driver

- Penalty: Return the money to the assigned driver or 2 days off the radio

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 4

- Offence: Disrespect a passenger / inappropriate encounter with a passenger (texting, calling passenger not work related)

- First Offence: Warning + 4 days off the radio

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 5

- Offence – Unable to pick up a job in the time assigned

- First Offence - Warning

- Penalty - Warning + 3 hours off the radio

- Process: Penalty is applied without a court hearing

Rule 6

- Offence: Overcharging a passenger

- First Offence: Return the extra to the passenger / drop it at the office

- Penalty: Return the to the passenger / drop it at the office or 1 day off the radio

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 7

- Offence: Prolong radio key up/ prolong disturbing the frequency

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 8

- Offence: Driver dispatching jobs on the frequency within peak hours.

- First Offence: Warning + 3hrs off the radio for all parties involved.

- Repeat Offence: 1-3 days off the radio depending on the situation

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 9

- Offence: Profanity outburst on the radio

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 10

- Offence: Dirty Car, smoking in car, Wearing Shorts, Slippers, No uniform

- Penalty: Not ready for work, must see Supervisor before start working

- Process: Penalty is applied without a court hearing

- Repeat Offence: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 11

- Offence: Pretending to be a next driver to a passenger

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 12

- Offence: Outstanding base fees at the office

- Penalty: Tuesday of each week NO CALL until all outstanding fees cleared

Rule 13

- Offence: Disturbing the frequency to ask the time on a job while the base is dispatching a job

- Asking the time on a job while being on the location already

- Asking the time more than 2 times for the same job

- Outburst on the radio over picking up a job

- Penalty - Disqualify from picking up that job and if proceed to pick up the job will be classified as stealing a job + 1 day extra off the radio.

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 14

- Offence: Intimidation of another driver over the radio about being closer to the job or continuously commenting on a job after the base assign a driver.

- Penalty - Unable to time of pick up that job + 3hrs off the radio

- Process: Penalty is applied without a court hearing

Rule 15

- Offence: Having the radio without using it for 7 days or more.

- Penalty - NO CALL and the radio sign in to the office until ready for work again, failure will result in termination of membership

Rule 16:

- Offence: Shooting a job and giving it back to the base

- Penalty – Next three jobs that throw you can only answer on second call not first call in or in league.

- Process: This is applied from the base room.

Rule 17

- Offence: Shooting a job and not picking up without informing the base. Shooting a job and giving it to another driver via phone or other means

- First Offence: Warning + 3hrs off the radio for all parties involved.

- Repeat Offence: 1-3 days off the radio depending on the situation

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 18

- Offence: Picking up a passenger and not informing the base that you are travelling with someone else. No travelling after 6pm with other passengers, only if you are picking up an operator.

- Penalty - 1-6 days off the radio (depending on the situation)

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 19

- Offence: Dropping off a passenger before arrival at their destination.

- First Offence: Warning + 8hrs off the radio.

- Repeat Offence: Termination

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 20

- Offence: Refuse to transport a voucher passenger.

- First Offence: Warning + 3hrs off the radio.

- Repeat Offence: Termination

- Process: Driver MUST attend court hearing before any penalty is applied

Rule 21

- Offence: 3rd party voice in a direct conversation between a base and a driver or a supervisor and a driver.

- First Offence: Warning + 3hrs off the radio for all parties involved.

- Repeat Offence: 1-3 days off the radio depending on the situation

- Process: Penalty is applied without a court hearing

Rule 22

- Offence: Any form of sexual comment or gesture towards a passenger, staff or another driver.

- Penalty: Termination, the driver does not fit to be within the company without further meeting or dialogue.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 23

- Offence: Not attending a court hearing

- Penalty: NO CALL until the driver attends the next meeting set at the supervisory teams discretion.

- Process: Driver returns the radio to the office immediately

Rule 24

- Offence: Refusing to return company equipment when requested

- Penalty: Termination and banned from rejoining.

- Process: Retrieval team is dispatched to retrieve the radio
